Man’s neck cut with smashed bottle, Golden Grove man charged with aggravated assault
A 27-year-old man was cut on the neck with a broken bottle in an alleged assault at Glenelg. A Golden Grove man has been charged after police reviewed CCTV footage.

A beachside assault has led to the arrest of a Golden Grove man who allegedly cut the neck of a 27-year-old with a smashed glass bottle.
Police were called to a hotel on Jetty Road at Glenelg just after 11:30pm on Friday.
The victim, a Glenelg resident, had suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance officers where he was treated.
The Jetty Road Southern District patrols spoke to a group of men identified as being involved in the incident.
After viewing CCTV footage police ascertained a 21-year-old man allegedly assaulted the victim by using a smashed glass bottle and cutting his neck.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
He was granted police bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 20 June.
