Man drives car into lagoon at Dry Creek

A driver has been taken to hospital after crashing a car into a lagoon at Dry Creek this afternoon.

A Paralowie man crashed his car into a light pole before ending up in knee-deep water at Dry Creek.

Emergency services were called to the scene about 2.10pm on Thursday after the car left Port Wakefield Rd at Dry Creek and ended up in a nearby lagoon.

The 44-year-old driver managed to escape the car and was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with minor injuries.

The 4WD has since been towed from the scene.

Investigations into the crash are continuing.
