Murraylands fire causes $300k in damage, homeowner hospitalised
A Murraylands homeowner is in hospital after a fire ripped through their property and caused extensive damage.

A Mannum homeowner was taken to hospital after a house fire tore through the property and caused about $300k in damage in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Emergency services including CFS and SA Police attended the scene of the fire at Purnong Rd at Mannum around 3am on Friday as the rear of the house and small shed were fully alight.
The fire spread through the house rapidly as the owner of the house was evacuated and taken to hospital.
The owner was treated for minor injuries.
Crews will remain at the scene throughout the morning and fire cause investigators will attend the property.
The fire is being treated as non-suspicious.
This comes as a woman remains in hospital and a 36-year-old man faces charges after an alleged domestic incident led to a house fire in Seaton.
Just after 2pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to Green Ave, Seaton after reports of a domestic disturbance.
When patrols and fire crews arrived at the property, they found smoke coming from the premises but were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
A 29-year-old woman still inside the home was evacuated and rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She is being treated for smoke inhalation and minor injuries.
The other resident, a 36-year-old man, was located on a nearby roof shortly after.
He was charged and arrested with assault.
Fire-cause investigators are examining the fire and police are investigate the circumstances that led to the incident.
