A young family has been forced to flee their burning house after a child in the home raised the alarm on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to Pix Rd, at Davoren Park, at 8.40am after reports black smoke was issuing from a home.
According to 7NEWS, three people escaped the blaze, including a young child who first noticed the fire.
They were treated by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation.
