Man charged with acts to endanger life after motorcycle strikes police at West Beach
A man has been charged after allegedly failing to stop at a breath testing site and hitting three officers as he sped past. And a patrol car has been struck in a separate incident a few hours later.

A man has been arrested after failing to stop at a western suburbs random breath testing site and hitting three officers as he sped past.
A 58-year-old man from Seaton was charged with acts to endanger life, drive unregistered, uninsured and unlicensed, failing to comply with breath analysis and failing to comply with police direction following the incident.
Police were conducting duties at a breath testing site on Tapleys Hill Rd, West Beach about 8.45pm on Thursday.
The motorcycle approached the RBT station and was directed to enter by a police officer, but the rider allegedly refused and hit the officer as he rode past.
Two other police officers were also struck by the motorcycle, but police were able to stop the rider as he went past and the officers were not seriously injured.
He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 10.
The motorcycle was seized and impounded for 28 days.
A few hours later, in a separate incident a man has been arrested after crashing into a police car at Waterloo Corner in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police were called to the North-South Motorway just before 2am on Friday after reports of a man acting suspiciously near a broken-down vehicle.
When the patrol arrived, the man jumped into a vehicle that had the bonnet raised and drove forward, hitting the unoccupied patrol car, police allege.
The officers, who were trying to remove the man from the vehicle at the time of the collision, suffered minor injuries.
Officers arrested the man and removed him from the driver’s seat.
The 29-year-old Davoren Park man was charged with assault police, drive in a manner dangerous to the public, acts to endanger life and resist arrest.
He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Friday.
The police car was towed from the scene and is a write-off. The man’s Mazda sedan was impounded for examination.
