A teenage driver crashed through a barrier at an overpass bridge before his car dropped five metres and landed on its roof on Sunday.
Just before 9.30pm, emergency services were called to Ascot Ave at Vale Park to find the Mitsubishi sedan smashed up and upside down on a walking trail below the linear park overpass bridge.
Remarkably, the P plate driver, a 17-year-old boy from Hendon, walked away with only minor injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
