Mr Goodfellow was arrested and charged with Mr Torrans’ murder after emergency services were called to a Salisbury Downs address just before 7pm on September 20.

Neighbours allegedly rushed over to see what was happening, with one performing CPR on the 31-year-old father until paramedics arrived – but Mr Torrans passed away.

Court documents released to The Advertiser by the Elizabeth Magistrates Court allege Mr Goodfellow, 30, told police he “didn’t mean to kill” his mate after an altercation at his Salisbury Downs home.
