More charges have been dropped over what police had alleged was an assault in the northern suburbs in which a man had been held against his will and hogtied.
Randall Lee Headon of Paralowie attended the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday after his March arrest, with the court hearing prosecutors had dropped charges relating to the alleged assault and false imprisonment.
They instead lodged fresh documents lodged with the court charging Mr Headon, 41, with two counts of trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and one count of trafficking in a controlled drug.
Charges of assault that causes harm, aggravated assault with a weapon and false imprisonment were previously dropped against Salisbury Downs woman Toyah Barbara Rough and Brahma Lodge man Steven Christopher Lloyd.
Prosecutors told Magistrate Lynette Duncan they needed eight weeks to prepare for Mr Headon to answer the charges proceeding.
The court heard the matters were contested and Mr Headon was remanded on continuing bail until October.
