A woman has died after crashing into a tree in the Adelaide Hills early on Monday morning.

A 30-year-old woman has died after crashing into a tree at Jupiter Creek, near Echunga, on Monday morning.
The woman, who was driving a Dodge sedan, was travelling along Razor Back Rd before her car left the road and crashed into a tree just after 6.30am.
The Marino woman and a 29-year-old man from Seacliff Park were both taken to Flinders Medical Centre.
The driver succumbed to her injuries and died in hospital a few hours later.
The passenger remains in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The woman’s death is the 42nd life lost on South Australian roads.
There were 54 fatal crashes on SA roads this time last year.
