Adelaide’s popular LIV Golf will move to an earlier timeslot for 2025, with Premier Peter Malinauskas announcing a move to February for the third iteration of the event.
The tournament will be held from February 14-16 in 2025.
Mr Malinauskas said the new summer-time slot will give the event, which was crowned the World’s Best Golf Event at the World Golf Awards, more prominence on LIV Golf’s global calendar.
Hospitality tickets for the 2025 event will be available from October 3, while grounds passes will be available from October 24.

Mr Malinauskas earlier hinted at moving the timing to avoid a clash with the 2025 US Masters golf tournament.
On Wednesday, the premier said the new timeslot would lead perfectly into Adelaide’s world-renowned festival season in March.
“We promised a bigger and better LIV Golf Adelaide in 2024 and we delivered, for the fans, for the players, and for our State’s economy,” he said.
“The resounding success of LIV Golf Adelaide continues to cement our state’s reputation as the best place in the nation to host blockbuster events – and I cannot wait for LIV to go even bigger and better again in February 2025.”
Mr Malinauskas previously said he was against pushing back the timing to any later in April or May, with weather being a major factor.
“We do not want a golf tournament in May,” Mr Malinauskas said.
“I think that becomes too risky, particularly for people who put their hand in their pocket and travel from interstate or overseas to go to an event if it gets rained out.”
In August 2023 it was reported there was a chance the 2024 event could be held in February, but in November the April dates were confirmed.
More than 90,000 people visited Grange Golf Course over the course of the 2024 tournament, injecting tens of millions into the economy.
