They form the SANFL’s most imposing three-headed forward line monster.

And at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, state coach Jade Sheedy hopes they will create the same type of havoc that they have in the opening six rounds of the State League competition.

Between them, Glenelg’s terrific tall attacking trio of dual Ken Farmer Medallist Liam McBean, Lachie Hosie and Luke Reynolds have kicked 43 goals this season – more than any other threesome.

They will be among the talents to watch during The Advertiser’s live stream of the interstate clash with WA.

The advertiser.com.au website is the only place to see the action live from 3.35pm, with expert commentary from John Casey and Port Adelaide defender Jarrod Lienert.

The Tigers trio all sit in the top five of the SANFL goalkicking leaderboard and have been influential in their club’s unbeaten start to the season.

Hosie is second, with 17 majors – one behind North Adelaide’s Lewis Hender, who bagged a career-high eight goals against West Adelaide at Prospect Oval on Sunday.

McBean and Reynolds, rank equal-third, along with Central District recruit Aiden Grace, with 13 goals.

Placing them alongside captain and key forward-ruckman Jack Hayes (Eagles) and clever smalls Tyson Stengle (Eagles) and Eamon Wilkinson (South Adelaide) in the SA team, Sheedy is hoping their synergy will help the Croweaters kick a winning score in the battle for the Haydn Bunton Junior Cup.

“We’ve picked the team on form, not synergy, and have eight players (including Riley Knight and Luke Partington) who will roll through our forward line, but there’s no doubt the synergy between the Glenelg boys could be handy for us,’’ Sheedy said.

“They know each other’s games very well and are a dangerous trio. They all bring different strengths, play their roles well and have shown that if one is shut down another bobs up.’’

McBean is the tallest of the Tigers trio at 202cm, the speedy, high-leaping Hosie stands at 189cm and classy left-footer Reynolds is 187cm.

All three have been at AFL clubs, with McBean playing five games for Richmond, Hosie five for North Melbourne and Reynolds having been on Carlton’s rookie list.

McBean said they hope to take advantage of their unique, on-ground understanding against the Black Swans.

“The benefit of having played together for a number of years is that we do understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses,’’ he said.

“We have different attributes that we bring to the table, know each other’s games and how to team well together.

“Generally at least one of us is able to get off the chain at some stage.’’

The trio is among six Tigers in the 23-man SA team, along with key defenders Max Proud and Chris Curran and 2019 Magarey Medallist, midfielder Partington.

Reigning premier Woodville-West Torens also has six representatives.

Reynolds said the chance to wear the famous SA guernsey was not lost on the players.

“It’s a great honour and there’s huge pride on the line,’’ he said.

“WA has picked a good side too and will be tough to beat but we want to get the win for our state.’’
