Newton Jaguars have finally kickstarted their Netball SA Premier League season while the search for a first win in 2022 continues for Garville.
The Jaguars and Greys clashed in The Advertiser’s live streamed Premier and Reserves matches of the round on Monday night.

Newton led from start to finish in the main contest, jumping out to a 15-9 lead at the first break and not looking back on the way to a 60-45 victory at Netball SA Stadium.
Amber Ellard shot the lights out with 50 goals in an unstoppable performance for the Jaguars.
For Garville, it was a disappointing night as their tough, winless season continued.
Both teams came into the match without a victory in the first five rounds.
In the reserves clash, the Greys made it two straight victories as they prevailed 56-28 over the Jaguars.

Newton Jaguars coach Alana House says her side cannot be written off as it looks to close in on its first win of the season.
The Jaguars will take on Garville in The Advertiser’s live streamed Netball SA Premier League match of the round on Monday night.
Both Newton and Garville are yet to record a win five rounds into the season, placing even greater importance on the clash.
House said the Jaguars had shown patches of strong play but needed to put an end to lapses which have cost them that elusive victory.
“Don’t count us out yet,” House said.
“I 100 per cent believe we’re going to come back at this so don’t count it out that you’re playing Jags and it’s an automatic win.
“Once we get a win on the board, the sense of belief will come and things will take off.”
Newton suffered a heavy loss to top-of-the-table Matrics on Friday night but showed better signs in a more narrow defeat to Metro Jets the previous round.
House said there were positive signs as the Jaguars continued to develop their team chemistry.
“I feel like the team is coming along nicely this season and we’ve got the girls bonding better than we’ve had,” House said.
“They seem to all get around each other, so the team culture we’re trying to build is a lot better.”
Garville meanwhile has disappointed in 2022 coming off last year’s preliminary final appearance.
The Greys most recently fell to a nine-point defeat at the hands of Metro Jets on Friday night.
Garville and Newton Jaguars Round 6 Netball SA Premier League match will be live streamed by The Advertiser from 7pm on Monday night.
It is part of a season-long deal to broadcast weekly games from the state league competition.
