Salisbury Inter Soccer Club is anticipating a successful Sunday as it attempts to take home two titles in its top level cup debut.
The WNPL, Division 1/2/3 and Division 4/5/6 cup finals will all be broadcast live from VALO Football Centre on the advertiser.com.au.
Salisbury Inter WNPL player Chantelle Ryder, whose side plays Metro United from 3.30pm, was confident her and her teammates can win the big dance, despite it being the club’s first ever WNPL cup final.
Inter will also play off in the Division 1/2/3 decider.
“The club is very excited about making the WNPL and Div 1/2/3 cup finals, everyone has been so enthusiastic,” Ryder said.
“We as a team are backing in our abilities for the NPL final, we know how important having that belief is when it comes to the cup.”
Inter will be slight favourites against Metro United after their dominant 4-0 win over Adelaide City in last week’s semi-final.
Ryder said the side would need to be as focused as it was last round to win the silverware on offer, despite its strong form coming in.
“Finals is what you play the sport for – it’s something you look forward to and not everyone gets to experience it,” she said.
Metro United was impressive in its semi-final last week, showing strong defence to narrowly defeat Adelaide Comets 2-1 in dramatic fashion.

Star player Laura Stockdale knew the strength Inter has up front, but believed her team had what it took to win.
“They’re a very strong and dangerous team with great depth,” Stockdale said.
“We’ve played them twice in the league, won one and lost one, so Sunday’s game will be an exciting one
“Finals football is different and anything can happen so we need to give 100 per cent. We know it will be a great spectacle for the women’s game.”
Sunday’s Division 1/2/3 final, which kicks off at 1pm, is between Salisbury Inter Div 1 and Adelaide University Div 1.
Inter defender Penny Wouters said her team was well-prepared after their 3-1 semi-final win over Croydon last week.
“Uni is a strong outfit but we love a good challenge, so where better than in the cup final to prove ourselves?” Wouters said.
“It feels great to be in the final and we’re confident going in. We showed a lot of persistence against Croydon last week and we’ll need to do the same this weekend.”
The Women’s Div 4/5/6 final, also starting at 1pm, will be between Croydon and Seymour.
The game is guaranteed to entertain viewers, with both sides boasting a high-powered attack.
Seymour’s strikers are on fire, the team smashing six goals past Elizabeth Downs in the club’s semi-final, and they will be looking to repeat the same fluid play up front as they did last week.
Croydon’s defence will have its hands full, but is in good form, meaning this one should be a close affair.
Live stream coverage of the FSA Women’s cup finals will begin at 1pm on Sunday.
All matches will be simultaneously streamed from both pitches at VALO Football Centre.
