Football SA U15 and U17 Girl's Cup semi-finals set for livestream from 6pm Tuesday and Wednesday (WNPL/WSL Cup)

The second night of Football SA finals action has wrapped up – watch the Girls U17s semi-finals replay here. Replay Tuesday night’s matches as well.

Last night in the U15s, Adelaide City Red defeated Salisbury Inter 6-0, while Modbury Vista Red won over Adelaide Uni Blue 3-0. You can replay those matches below.

Tonight, Adelaide Comets Red take on Adelaide Uni Red and Modbury Vista Red take on Football SA U14 Red. Both matches start at 6pm and you can watch below.

Adelaide Comets Red U17s have hit form at just the right time for their U17 Girl’s Cup semi-final against Adelaide University Red, according to key player Alicia Randall.

The match, starting at 6pm on Wednesday at VALO Football Centre, is one of four Girl’s Cup semi-finals being live streamed by The Messenger and Advertiser at advertiser.com.au on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Despite the recent Covid-19 lockdown, Randall believes her team is facing favoured Adelaide Uni Red, who are top of the league, at just the right time.

“Our team has come so far together. As our season has progressed we’ve bonded so well and trained hard to reach our best,” she said.

“Uni has always been a good team but they haven’t seen the best of us.

“Our last game was a close 2-1 and we’ve trained hard and are ready to come back fighting.”

A win on Wednesday would mark a second Cup final appearance for Comets, the club also winning the Cup last season.

Randall said winning for a second straight year would cap off the season perfectly.

“It would be a huge achievement because we’re a really new team this year,” she said.

“We want to make our mark and we’ve all worked so hard. Winning the cup would top off a great season.”

REPLAY: U15 GIRLS SEMI FINAL - Adelaide University vs Modbury Vista

Modbury Vista Red will take on Football SA U14 Red in the other U17 Cup semi-final on Wednesday night.

Football SA U14 are currently second in the Red league, while Modbury Vista sit sixth, meaning the latter will be the underdog.

Modbury went down 8-0 in their last match-up with Football SA U14, but a cup semi can go either way, so expect an intense affair.

U15 Girl’s Cup semi-finals will take place from 6pm on Tuesday night, with two tight contests expected.

Adelaide City Red will take on Salisbury Inter Red on Pitch 1 in a battle between fourth and fifth in the league.

Both teams play attractive, attacking football, with City scoring a whopping total of 36 goals so far this season.

Expect loads of goals in a match which could go either way.

The other Tuesday night U15 semi-final, on Pitch 2, is between Adelaide Uni Blue and Modbury Vista Red.

Uni are second in the Blue league, while Modbury is top of Red, both teams playing a strong brand on both ends of the pitch.

With Uni having scored 49 goals this season, and Modbury 37, it will be a thoroughly entertaining contest.

Livestream coverage of the Girl’s U15 Cup semi-finals from VALO Football Centre will begin 6pm Tuesday, while the U17 semis will be streamed from the same time on Wednesday.

All matches will be simultaneously streamed from both pitches.
