WAG Aisha Jade McKinnon has hit out at the characterisation of her AFL superstar partner Jordan de Goey.
The former Big Brother contestant and fashion designer said the man often described in the media is far from the individual she knows.

De Goey, 28, has found himself under intense scrutiny over his off-field antics, none more notable than in 2021 when he was arrested in New York over an incident in a nightclub.
The Collingwood midfielder was back in the spotlight only months later when he was involved in a nightclub scandal in Bali during the club’s mid-season bye round.
Despite the negative headlines and bad boy image that surrounds him, McKinnon says it couldn’t be further from the truth.
“It’s sad because I know a very different Jordy,’’ McKinnon said to the Herald Sun.
“He’s really lovely. We definitely value our privacy, we connected on that, and we both have unique jobs and support each other.”
The couple only met earlier this year, but the relationship has taken off with the duo buying a farm together an hour outside of Melbourne.
“We met the good old fashioned Instagram way (over message),’’ McKinnon said.
“It was lovely and we were like pen pals until we met. We’re getting our hands dirty at the farm transforming it and having fun.”
De Goey put pen to paper on a monster five-year contract extension in 2022 to remain with Collingwood.
The deal struck between De Goey’s management and the football club reportedly included behavioural clauses that would have allowed the football club to terminate the contract if he were to bring the club into disrepute in the first two seasons of the deal.
The star midfielder endured an injury-riddled 2024 campaign, appearing in only 13 games as he battled groin and hamstring issues.
He has reportedly travelled to the Aspectar clinic in Doha this off-season, according to The Age, to undergo groin and abdomen rehabilitation treatment as he eyes a return to his scintillating best in 2025.
