Former Crows captain Taylor Walker says an exodus is unavoidable as the club which is still yet to appoint a successor for departed coach Don Pyke is staring at a huge post-season clean-out before naming a new boss.
With Cam Ellis-Yolmen, 26, Alex Keath, 27, Josh Jenkins, 30, Andy Otten, 30, Sam Jacobs, 31, and Richard Douglas, 32, all in the departure lounge, Walker said he wasn’t keen on losing more players before pre-season.

Hugh Greenwood, 27, has requested a trade to the Gold Coast and evergreen Eddie Betts, 32, has been linked with a return to Carlton.
Speculation continues to swirl about the futures of Brad Crouch, who is chasing a long-term deal at the Crows, and his brother Matt at the Crows.
“Clearly the club has come out and said we’re going to rejuvenate the list to change the list to go a bit younger,’’ Walker told Triple M Adelaide on Tuesday.
“Some guys have said their intentions to leave the footy club but some of the guys mentioned … that’s still speculation which is all it is at this time of year. I suppose there are reports that guys want to leave and guys want to do this. But until the player actually comes out and says it …
“I don’t want to lose any players, I’d like to keep the list as it is but unfortunately the rules say you have to change the list by six players a year.”
Crows football director Mark Ricciuto said on Tuesday he “definitely can’t” comment on the speculation about the Crouch brothers, other than to say they are “required players at the Adelaide Football Club. They’re contracted players and important players to the football club.”
Veteran ruckman Jacobs is set to join GWS, Keath nominated the Western Bulldogs as a preferred AFL club, Cam Ellis-Yolmen informed the Crows this week he wanted to go to the Brisbane Lions and Jenkins has agreed to part ways with the Crows.
Adelaide is tipped to be in the race for Port Adelaide tall Billy Frampton who told the club on Monday he would like a trade in a bid to play more AFL games.
