Getting their daughter into their school of choice was so important for the Zachariah family they only looked at homes in that school zone while househunting.
Adelaide University research officer Martil Zachariah, 42, and her IT professional husband Tino, 45, moved to from Myrtle Bank in Adelaide’s east to Surrey Downs in the northern suburbs in October.
They had just one thing in mind.

“We were very keen to get admission for our daughter, Zaneta at The Heights School, which is one of the top schools in Adelaide,” Mrs Zachariah said.
“The Heights School is known for its high academic standards and specialty programs in IGNITE.
“The school also provides the right balance of educational and extra-curricular activities.”
Mrs Zachariah said finding a property that met their family’s requirements took a lot of time.
“We looked for properties only in the Heights School’s zone,” she said.

“The house hunting journey was a hard experience for us.
“Lots of families attended house inspections and auctions.”
Now in and settled both at home and school, Mrs Zachariah said she was happy with life in Surrey Downs.
“We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful suburb,” she said.
“Zaneta has had great experiences at The Heights School.
“We see her growing and developing through her studies and the great resources provided by the school.”
