Luxe waterfront homes coming to Taperoo

Adelaide’s metro coastline is set for a fresh look as six luxury waterfront homes hit the market at Taperoo. Priced from almost $2m, these impressive homes are a game changer for SA’s waterfront

Adelaide’s metro coastline is set for a fresh look as six luxury waterfront homes hit the market at Taperoo.

The luxe four-bedroom listings, which are priced from $1.9445m, are situated in the currently-under-construction Fort Largs development and will be built by local builder Scott Salisbury Homes.

The homes offer unrestricted beach views and are located just a 30-minute drive from the CBD.

The $170m Fort Largs project is the creation of developer Peet, whose other SA developments include Lightsview, Tonsley Village, Bluestone, Mt Barker, Forestville, and Woodville Rd.

Peet managing director and CEO Brendan Gore said Adelaide’s strong price growth in recent years had fuelled a hunger for high-end properties, particular along Adelaide’s metropolitan coastline.

“In Fort Largs specifically, we’ve seen stronger than average demand due to its location, premium housing and future amenity,” Mr Gore says.

“As the only masterplanned beachfront project in metropolitan Adelaide, the new homes at Fort Largs offer the rare opportunity to secure premium housing with both direct beach access and city centre connectivity.”

The six waterfront homes will feature multiple living spaces, courtyards, and large balconies.

The development will comprise 200 homes when complete – 150 of which have already been sold – and first residents are expected to move in late this year.

The development includes the restoration of the historic fort, which will include a fresh produce market, cafe and community event space. When it is completed in summer, it will be the first time in history the fort, barracks and drill hall have been open to the public.
