Two seriously injured after crash in stolen car on Salisbury Highway | Pedestrian hit on Morphett Rd

An elderly woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car at Oaklands Park.
The car hit the pedestrian who was crossing Morphett Rd about 9.15am Wednesday.
Paramedics flooded the area and took the local woman, 78, to the Flinders Medical Centre where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.

It comes after two people were seriously injured crashing a stolen car into a wall on the Salisbury Hwy.
The car crashed under the highway’s overpass just before 11pm on Tuesday.
The driver, a Paralowie man, 32, and his female passenger, 21, were rushed to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The silver Volkswagen had registration plates not matching the car, which had been stolen from Prospect in April.
No charges have been laid yet.
About an hour later, a stolen car was allegedly tracked while it drove at speed through Adelaide’s north.
A stolen Mitsubishi Magna was seen speeding past patrols on Fairfield Rd at Elizabeth Grove just before midnight Tuesday.
The vehicle had been stolen from Elizabeth Vale on Monday and the police helicopter was sent out and tracked the car on Main North Rd.
It continued through to Armagh Crescent at Salisbury Downs where two occupants abandoned the car but were arrested nearby.
The alleged driver of no fixed address, 27, was arrested and charged with illegal use, speeding dangerously, driving unlicensed, possessing a prohibited weapon and breaching bail.
The passenger, a Salisbury North woman, 26, was arrested and charged with illegal use.
Both were refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
It comes after a wild pursuit involving a car stolen from Victoria ended in an arrest on the
S-E Freeway.
Police tracked the car through the Adelaide Hills on Tuesday morning but it was eventually spiked, and the car stopped on the freeway near Stirling.
