SA Premier Peter Malinauskas shares cute family photo following birth of fourth child George

It’s no mean feat trying to get a family of six all doing the right thing at the same time to nail a portrait. But, after a few goes, that’s exactly what the Malinauskas clan were able to do.

It’s the adorable family photograph every family with young children can relate to – mum and dad wrangling their little people to sit still for a moment and look at the camera at the same time.

Except in the case of the family of Premier Peter Malinauskas, there are a few extra children to co-ordinate.

Now a family of six – according to the latest Australian Bureau Statistics Census, the average Australian family has 1.8 children – the challenges of getting the picture perfect shot has just got a bit more challenging, if not more fun.

Mr Malinauskas and his wife, corporate lawyer Annabel, welcomed their fourth child to their family on November 16.

And by the looks of the most recent photo shared by the family ahead of Christmas, his big brother and sisters are doing just that with little George very much the centre of attention during the photo shoot.

The Malinauskas children are more interested in what the little fellow is doing, than concerned about posing for the camera – with Jack also ready for a kick of the footy and little Eliza just doing her own thing.

Announcing the arrival of his youngest child last month, the Premier said: “Family is everything … Annabel and George are doing very well, we feel so incredibly fortunate.”
