Police search for witnesses after woman aged in her 40s was allegedly sexually assaulted at Ascot Park
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman aged in her 40s, was allegedly sexually assaulted in Adelaide’s south earlier this month.

A man has been charged over allegedly sexually assaulting a woman, with police now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the alleged offender.
Police responded to reports of a sexual assault which allegedly occurred in Sixth Ave, Ascot Park, just after 9.30pm on Friday, December 13.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, spoke to police once they arrived at the scene and said the man was last seen heading towards Marion Rd.
Patrols quickly set up cordons and were able to find the man on Marion Rd, hiding in the garden of a business premises.
The 54-year-old suspect of no fixed address – described as caucasian, aged in his mid 40s, over 180cm tall with a slim build – was subsequently arrested.
He was charged with indecent assault, assault with intent to commit an offence and carrying an offensive weapon.
He appeared in Adelaide Magistrates Court in March where he was remanded, after being refused police bail.
Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw the man, who was wearing a red baseball cap, a red t-shirt with a circle logo on it, blue track pants and sneakers, to contact Crime Stoppers.
