Police arrest man after he allegedly fly kicked their car at petrol station

A man has been arrested after he allegedly fly kicked a police car at a service station early on Sunday morning.

A man has been arrested after her allegedly fly kicked a police car which caused significant damage.

Police, who dubbed the man a “ninja” were at a Ceduna service station at about 2.30am on Sunday morning, for an unrelated matter, when a man fly kicked the rear of their car.

Damage was caused to the vehicle as a result of the incident.

CCTV obtained by police helped them to track the man down and arrested him at about 9.30am.

The 30-year-old man was charged with property damage and will appear at the local Magistrates Court on May 22.

Meanwhile, police charged a man after he threatened staff and stole cash from a Croydon Park service station.

Police were called to Regency Rd just after 6pm with reports a man had threatened staff with a knife during a robbery.

No staff were injured during the incident.

Patrols and police dogs Duke and Chaos were sent to the scene and searched the area before finding the suspect running on Rugby Ave.

A 21-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

It is expected he will be refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Police have also charged a 43-year-old woman with aggravated assault and theft after she allegedly stole items from a Brompton service station on Sunday night.

The woman, from Henley Beach South, stole the items at about 8.15pm and produced a knife when approached by a staff member.

Police deployed police dogs Duke and Chaos but couldn’t find the woman immediately.

Later investigations lead to an arrest overnight at a Bowden address.

The woman was granted bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 23.
