A north eastern suburbs man has been charged over several alleged vile sex and drug offences against multiple children.
An investigation by the Special Crimes Investigation Section led to the arrest of the 49-year-old man on Friday, April 18.
He was charged with two counts of detaining a person, two counts of supplying or administering a drug to another person, assault, unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under 17 years and rape.
Police allege the offences involved multiple victims aged under 17.
The man was refused police bail and is scheduled to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 22.
An investigation into the matter is ongoing, police said.
