An elderly man has been flown to hospital with burn injuries after a fire sparked on a Barossa Valley property, about 50km north east of Adelaide, on Thursday afternoon,
At around 3.30pm, emergency services were called to Green Gully Rd, Barossa Goldfields after reports of a structural fire.
A spokesman for SA Ambulance said an 88-year-old man sustained injuries to his hand and face and was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
Country Fire Service crews worked to contain the blaze that started after a burn-off became uncontrollable.
