75-year-old man suffers non-life threatening injuries in Currency Creek crash

An elderly man is in hospital after a crash at Currency Creek on Wednesday.
Just after 12.30pm, police were called to a serious crash on Myrtlegrove Rd after reports a car had crashed into a tree.
Police said the driver and sole occupants of a Nissan SUV, a 75-year-old man, was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with non-life threatening injuries and underwent a routine blood test.
Myrtlegrove Rd was closed in both directions but has since reopened.
Investigations into circumstances surrounding the crash were continuing.
Meanwhile, a 46-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in an incident at Gemmels on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Long Valley Rd about 10.45am after reports a woman had jumped out of a car, in what police were treating as a mental health-related incident.
She was flown to Flinders Medical Centre.
Long Valley Rd has since reopened to traffic.
This comes two days after a two-vehicle collision at Reedy Creek near Kingston, in SA’s Limestone Coast.
Shortly before 10am on Monday, emergency services were called to the Princes Highway.
A 19-year-old male driver, from Victoria, and his 14-year-old passenger were both taken to Kingston Hospital.
The 19-year-old was later flown to Adelaide in a serious condition.
