Serious and Organised Crime detectives have taken over investigations into an arson attack at a Port Noarlunga restaurant and have released video of the incident in a bid to locate the suspects.
The incident happened about 3.50am Wednesday, June 22, when molotov cocktails and flares were used to set fire to a restaurant on Fleet St.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and contained the blaze before it caused significant damage.
In CCTV video later released by police, two people wearing hoods and masks are seen approaching the restaurants and throwing at least four objects at the site.
A flash is captured as the structure erupts.
Detectives are now also looking for two men in a Mitsubishi Magna seen at Christies Beach on the evening of the arson attack.
A mid-1980s two tone blue and silver station wagon, similar to the one pictured, was seen parked facing west on Christies Beach Rd at Christies Beach near the post office about 3.15am on June 22.
Two men were attending to items in the vehicle before driving west towards the beach.
Anyone who recognises the people in the video or the men in the vehicle should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
