An ATM was stolen from a golf course clubroom in the southern suburbs on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the Thaxted Park Golf Course on Golf Course Drive near Panalatinga Road in Morphett Vale after an alarm activated about 5.10am.
Patrols arrived to find the doors of the clubrooms had been smashed by a car.
The car was reportedly used to remove the ATM machine from inside the club, and also damaged golfing memorabilia.
Club president Jamie Dunniecliff said the amount of money in the ATM, has not yet been determined.
“There’ll be a few thousand dollars in repairing the doors and the windows, so it will take a little bit of time to get around that and hopefully there wasn’t too much money in the ATM,” Mr Dunniecliff told 7News.
