A 59-year-old Strathalbyn man has died during a workplace accident at a Forestry SA site on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Emergency services rushed to a Forestry SA property on Monday after a person became trapped in machinery at Parawa, near Second Valley.
SA Police said the man was fatally injured while moving logs in a harvesting vehicle.
Both Qube and Forestry SA have expressed their sympathy and vowed to investigate the accident.
CFS, State Emergency Service, SA Ambulance and SA Police crews were sent to the site on Range Rd at Parawa just after 2.30pm.
The MedStar Helicopter was also sent to assist.
SafeWork SA has been notified.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
