A series of fires, believed to be deliberately lit, have raised alarm bells for police.
Barossa Police are investigating multiple roadside fires, which did not result in any property damage before being extinguished, and have urged the community to be vigilant as fire danger season approaches.
The first of the incidents occurred at around 1.15am on Thursday, August 17.
Two fires were reported on either side of Eden Valley Rd, Angaston. Light rain helped to minimise any fire spread.
At around 4.30pm on Tuesday September 12 a fire was reported on Cranes Range Rd at Eden Valley.
Most recently at around 11am on Thursday September 14 a fire was discovered by passing cyclists on Karra Yerta Rd, Flaxman Valley.
The fire was quickly extinguished by a local farmer in a farm fire unit.
Local police and CFS are working together to monitor reckless or dangerous activity that might threaten community safety.
The police are urging the public to be vigilant to the danger posed by bushfires and to report any suspicious activity in fire danger areas to the police assistance line at the time on 131 444.
