Woman, 42, killed in crash on Kangaroo Island at Pelican Lagoon
A woman has died following a truck crash on Kangaroo Island. Her death was the second fatality on SA roads on Tuesday.

A woman has been killed in a multi-car crash on Kangaroo Island on Tuesday morning.
The alarm was raised about 9.30am, with emergency services crews rushing to Hog Bay Rd and Davies Rd at Pelican Lagoon, south of American River, after a woman driving a car crashed in to a truck.
Paramedics, police and State Emergency Service crews attended the scene and a helicopter was launched.

The Kangaroo Island woman, 42, and driver of the car, died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
Hog Bay Rd was closed between Ratcliff Track and Island Beach Rd, but has since reopened.
The state’s road toll is now at nine lives lost this year, compared to 14 at the same time last year.
It follows a fatal crash at Monbulla, in the state’s south east, that killed an OB Flat man, 21, also on Tuesday morning.
