Alleged thief tracked and arrested after stealing victim’s wallet with an Apple AirTag device
An alleged thief has been left with egg on their face after they stole an item containing an unsuspected surprise.

An alleged thief stole more than he bargained for when he swiped a wallet containing a tracking device which allowed his victim to see his whereabouts.
Around 4pm on Friday April 26 a woman returned home from walking her dog to see her car being stolen from her Clark Tce home at Seaton.
The offender broke into her house and stole her car keys and wallet which contained an Apple AirTag.
The victim was able to track her car and provide police with updates on its location.
Patrols in the area for the Liv Golf event assisted and the stolen Subaru Forester was spotted on Tapleys Hill Rd just before 5pm.
Polair located the vehicle abandoned in Lark Ave just a few minutes later.
Police chased the suspect who was jumping over fences in the area.
A 24-year-old Enfield man was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, illegal use, driving unlicensed, unlawful possession and theft.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
The stolen car was able to be returned to its owner.
