Adelaide man plans to buy first home with $20m Oz Lotto win

A Findon man and his wife had a sleepless night after discovering he was holding the only division one winning entry in the Oz Lotto draw, instantly becoming a multi-millionaire.

A Findon man is planning on buying his first home after becoming $20m richer, holding the only division one winning entry in the Oz Lotto draw last night.

The man said he and his wife were in tears when they realised his 25-game online QuickPick entry was the draw 1507 winner.

“What a moment. We couldn’t believe it. I can’t believe how much we cried,” he said.

“We were awake until about 4am this morning. My chest was pumping all night. I felt like I could see my heart beating.

“I just kept looking at my phone thinking, ‘am I dreaming? What’s happening to me?’.”

The man said they had been looking for a reasonable home loan to buy their first home.

“There have been so many ups and downs. Not anymore,” he said.

He added he always told his wife he’d win the lottery.

“I’ve said to her, ‘one day I will win. I don’t know how much it will be or when, but I will win.’. I’ve been thinking about it. This has been my vision,” he explained.

“Unbelievable.”

The winning numbers on Tuesday were 20, 7, 43, 30, 41, 24 and 35. The supplementary numbers were 17, 40 and 19.
