A teenager has been arrested after a home in Adelaide’s northern suburbs was completely destroyed by fire.
The 14-year-old girl from Elizabeth Vale was arrested on Thursday after setting fire to a house on Wednesday night.
Police and fire crews rushed to Clare Street, Elizabeth Vale just after 8.30pm after reports that a duplex house was fully ablaze.
Residents at the property managed to escape without sustaining any serious injuries.
Fire crews were not able to save the building.
After investigating the incident, the 14-year-old girl was charged with arson and bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court on April 21.
