Police have followed a trail of chocolate bars and lollies to arrest four teenage boys who allegedly robbed two service stations in Adelaide's affluent suburbs overnight.
The first service station to be hit was an On The Run on King William Rd in Unley just before 3am today.
In the second incident, just an hour later, the four alleged armed bandits then held up another On The Run on Greenhill Rd in the nearby suburb of Glenside.
Police say the four boys, three of whom are from neighbouring wealthy suburbs, used scissors to threaten staff.

They allegedly stole cigarettes, bars of chocolate and various confectionery items from both shops.
Patrols quickly set up cordons in the area after the boys were seen running south down Conyngham St.
Officers discovered a trail of chocolate bars, lollies and cigarette lighters, which led them to two of the suspects.
Meanwhile, Police Dog Marley tracked down the other half of the crew nearby on Pine Cl.
Two of the boys, aged 17 and 15, are from Linden Park, while two 16-year-olds from Parkside and Hillcrest were also arrested.
Three of the boys were refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today, while the Parkside boy will appear in court at a later date.

Temp quadruples in last three hours
Gabriel Polychronis
The temperature has quadrupled in the last three hours, thanks to a lack of cloud coverage.
At just 2.6C this morning, it looked set to be another bitter day. But, thankfully, the sunshine has caused the temperature to quadruple in the last three hours. A temperature of 10.5C was recorded just after 9.35am.
We are heading for a top of 15C today.
Despite the cold start to the morning in #Adelaide (2.6C at 6:35am) the sunshine has caused the temperature to quadruple in the last three hours (10.5C at 9:35am) and we are well on our way to our forecast max of 15C. Check the latest observations here: https://t.co/vxDx9wNY6y
