Here is what caught our eye at the weekend:
CULLEN’S SURPRISE APPEARANCE
Adelaide Lutheran’s Turf LO2 side appeared to be cruising on 3/88 at Park 15 on Saturday. Enter one-Test off-spinner Dan Cullen for Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ D grade.
The former Redback tore through the undermanned Lutheran line-up, taking four of the last five wickets, to bowl the visitors out for 104.
Cullen’s first wicket was caught and bowled but the next three skittled the hapless Lutheran batsmen.
The 34-year-old’s tally of 4/4 off 4.3 overs did not end there, as he came in at No.4 to make an unbeaten 30 off 24.
PAOC finished on 2/106, making the total in 20.4 overs.
Cullen hit the heights of Australian Test cricket just once when he was called up for an appearance on the 2006 tour of Bangladesh.
He also played five one-day internationals.
Cullen was not the only PAOC player to record impressive figures on Saturday.
The Reds’ Turf A1 skipper Jack Latchford hit 97 from 99 balls to lead his side to 217 against Port District at Largs Reserve.
He then backed it up by taking 5/6 with the ball from 3.3 overs.
OH WE’RE FROM ... SEAHORSELAND?
Glenelg was in high spirits on Saturday after chasing down Port Adelaide’s 264 to secure a berth in the grade cricket one-day semi finals.
So much so the Seahorses belted out their victory song — a take on the Richmond Football Club’s famous ‘We’re from Tigerland’.
Tom Plant may not love the camera, but he loves hundreds, and his unbeaten 123 led our 1st Grade to a huge nine wicket win today against Port Adelaide! The boys enjoyed singing the song....ð¼#gobays pic.twitter.com/KlQlFCQi8e

Veteran and club all-time leading run scorer Tom Plant can be seen in the video above after leading the way with a fantastic 123 not out.
Plant does not appear to love the camera as much as he likes scoring boundaries though.
PICTURE OF THE WEEK
EIGHT IS ENOUGH
Adelaide & Suburban Section Two was the place to be for big wicket hauls.
Coromandel managed to defend 127, mostly because of Andrew Brown, who routed Warradale (84) with 8/31 in 14 overs.
TANSELL ON TARGET
In the same section, Belair’s Matt Tansell took 7/37 from 16 overs to restrict Morphettville Park to 150.
Belair reeled it in with five wickets to spare.
BIG DAY OUT
In Para Districts Cricket Association Grade Six, North Pines’ Michael Aghan did not mess around.
He made a rare 40-over game 150, finishing 156 not out with 21 fours and five sixes out of a hefty 5/352.
Aghan’s teammate Jamie Hibbett helped finish off Virginia (135) with a hat-trick.
OVER IN A HURRY
It was a brief affair in Turf LO2.
Golden Grove “recovered” from a shaky 8/19 to post 35.
It took all of five overs for Pulteney to get the win, none down.
LEADING THE WAY
Openers dominated the ASCA Section Three match between Fitzroy and Mitchell Park.
Greg Bannerman made 119 (13 fours, four sixes) in Fitzroy’s 263.
The Lions could only muster 128, but did so with Shaun Hollis performing the rare feat of carrying his bat for 52 not out.
GLENUNGA’S DOUBLE ACT
In Turf LO1, Glenunga rode the coat tails of two batsmen for an easy win.
Tony Gagliardi posted 121 not out in the 40-over game.
He faced 139 balls and hit 12 fours and four sixes.
Gagliardi put on 162 with Jason Dal Carobbo, who enjoyed his knock of 72, having come off three consecutive ducks.
The eventual target of 6/218 proved to be way too many for Flinders Park, which could muster only 78.
