EDITOR'S NOTE: All charges against Simon Schramm have now been dropped.

A man arrested for drug trafficking alongside the son of a former SA detective has walked free from court today, after the prosecution withdrew their remaining charges.

Joel Daniel Dycer, 35, appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Tuesday in front of Magistrate Kylie Schulz where two counts of possessing a prescription drug and one count possessing a prohibited weapon were withdrawn.

Last month, Mr Dycer fronted court where three drug trafficking charges were also dropped by the prosecution.

He and a woman were allegedly connected to a raid in Adelaide’s south last year.

Rachel Evans, 29, and Mr Dycer appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates’ Court in December after they were both charged with drug trafficking matters back in October.

Police previously alleged both were present at a Seaford Meadows home on the morning of October 11, when STAR Group officers went to the house to search the property in relation to alleged drug dealing.

Police allege they found a 51-year-old man, later identified as Simon Schramm, son of a former top cop over his toilet flushing drugs.

“On inspection of the toilet, police found a plastic resealable bag in the bowl. They attempted to retrieve the bag from the toilet but found it to be empty,” said the police prosecutor.

“Police suspect the contents of the bag were illicit drugs and the accused disposed of them by flushing them down the toilet.”

On further inspection of the house, police allegedly found a trafficable quantity of fantasy, methamphetamine and some cannabis.

The court also heard a number of prescription drugs were found in the house, including steroids, $550 in cash as well as tick lists and a number of mobile phones.

All three were subsequently arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and other offences.

At Mr Schramm’s bail hearing, the court heard Mr Dycer had only been living at the property for a short time before the raid occurred and only the items in his bedroom belonged to him.

The police prosecutor asked for a no-contact order between all the parties, which Ms Evans’ defence counsel did not oppose.

“It would be preferable that they don't have contact for evidence reasons,” said the police prosecutor.
