Collette Alfar crowned South Australia’s best wax technician

With over a decade in the industry, this Happy Valley mum has taken out the prize in her respected field. Meet South Australia’s top five wax technicians.

They say third time is the charm, and for this Happy Valley mum, this is exactly that.

Collette Alfar, owner of Endless Beauty by Colette, was speechless to learn she had finally topped the tally in The Messenger’s latest Best Of series.

“I’m honestly shaking, I have come so close before, I can’t believe it,” Ms Alfar said.

Voted into the top 10 Best Beauty Therapist before making the top three for South Australia’s Best Skin Therapist earlier this year, Ms Alfar says the honours come nothing short than from her loyal clientele.

“I’ve been able to come this far because of my beautiful clients as well as my friends and family who have all really supported me, I am very lucky,” she said.

Ms Alfar has been in the beauty industry and salon owner since 2011, specialising in many beauty treatments such as waxing, facials lash lifting and many other beauty treatments.

“It can be really hard sometimes to keep up with all the new technology and the new treatments.

“I am always looking at upgrading my beauty treatments.

“I am fortunate enough to have a beauty salon at home which I work out of and I love.

“It gives my clients that personal feeling of welcoming them into my home.”
