The chance to score more than $50 an hour while working at the state’s biggest party officially opens on Saturday, with big paychecks on offer for new and unique roles.
The Royal Adelaide Show will engage around 10,000 workers and volunteers from opening day on August 31 to through to the final gate shutting on September 8.
Wages vary depending on the role, with some offering up to $56.18 an hour, and include security staff, labourers, hospitality workers, retail workers, cleaners, bin runners, and casual food and beverage attendants.
Some jobs are already being open for applications, while others are yet to be advertised. Thousands of positions will need to be filled, meaning big pay packets for the nine days.
Kyle Leatham, a general hand with Pinnacle People, said working for the show was “definitely worth it” for those looking to grab some extra cash and get up close and personal with the show’s unique experiences.
