Adelaide’s best dog groomers as voted by you

We asked you to tell us who you trust to pamper your pooch. More than 7300 votes later, here are our results for Adelaide’s best dog salons — as voted by you.

We asked and more than 7300 of you voted for your favourite dog groomers in suburban Adelaide.

From the north, south, east and west we’ve found the top 20 places to take your pooches to be pampered.

Oscar’s on Unley was not only voted the best in the East and Inner South but won the most amount of votes in the competition with 794 votes.

The Unley Rd groomer’s owner Karen Stewart says getting this recognition from her customers makes all the hard work worth it.

“We work so hard and we try so hard and we love our clients — the furry ones especially,” Mrs Stewart says.

“We appreciate our clients, so after 12 years it’s kind of nice to be appreciated back.”

Mima’s Grooming of Allenby Gardens took out the title in the West and Lonsdale’s Paw by Paw Playhouse Dog Grooming and Daycare was the winner in the South.

Hairy Hound All Breed Grooming and Clipping in Salisbury East was the Northern winner and also second most popular in the competition with 605 votes.

Hairy Hound owner Amy Jones has been working in the industry for close to a decade and teaches grooming at TAFE.

“It’s nice to know our clients appreciate what we do and have voted for us,” Mrs Jones says.

“My favourite part about the job is gaining each dog’s trust and seeing the end result of her work.”
