Shocking vision has captured the moment a woman covered in blood smashes her way into the home of a former Channel 7 personality, just before a man was found dead next door.
Police arrested the 30-year-old woman last night after she allegedly smashed through the back glass door of a Walkerville Tce home – owned by media icon Jan Beasley.
Footage from the confronting scene captures the moment the accused picks up a pot plant and forces her way into the home.
Jan’s husband, John, can be heard yelling “Get away from our house, go away”.
Officers then arrested the woman, who was partially clothed and covered in blood, just before 7pm on Monday.
On the same evening, paramedics found the body of 65-year-old Andrew Sorby-Adams with multiple stab wounds inside in his unit.
Sadly, Mr Sorby-Adams could not be revived.
Gilberton residents say they are living in fear for their lives after the brutal stabbing murder of a disabled man in his unit. His alleged killer has also been charged with smashing her way into the home of a former Channel 7 personality. https://t.co/m3uVUuZcyB@hannahfoord7⦠pic.twitter.com/g6PJ5OqK9C

“It took more than five police to hold her, so we would have had no show,” Mrs Beasley said.
“Something has to change, honestly and truly, everyone in this neighbourhood now is scared to death.”
The woman has been remanded in mental health custody and her identity has been suppressed.
She appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court by phone link from an undisclosed medical facility – but is yet to plead to a number of charges, including murder and property damage.
