While the cost of living crisis is real, there are unreal offers out there.
That is because delicious. has teamed with American Express for its fifth American Express delicious. Month Out.
During May, some of Adelaide’s favourite restaurants are coming to the table with a range of offers available to all diners who book online.
American Express customers are also being invited to take up additional offers.
Norwood hotspot Arkhe is offering guests a Mayura Station Wagyu steak sando for just $24 during lunch on Thursdays and Fridays in May.
Arkhe founder and head chef Jake Kellie said AEDMO couldn’t have come at a better time.
“With the weather cooling off and people feeling the pinch of rising costs of living, it’s great to see local businesses pulling together exciting, great value offers to give people a reason to get out and about,” said Kellie, who’s also launched a collaboration series, arkhé and friends, with some of the world’s best chefs.
“Supporting our bars and restaurants is essential, so for anyone wanting to show some love, this is the time.”
Since it started, the annual event has added more than $80m to the local dining industry across Australia.
Delicious. editor-in-chief Krysia Bonkowski said the month of offers were designed to encourage people to enjoy the rich dining culture of their city.
“American Express delicious. Month Out is an all-out celebration of Australia’s dynamic dining scene,” she said. “From great-value restaurant meals through to lavish foodie events, our program offers something for every taste and budget.”
Tickets to the American Express delicious. Month Out – House Party at Aces foodie event, which will include an eight-course snack menu by head chef Tom Tilbury in collaboration with a special guest, are also still available. It is being held on Wednesday, May 8.

ANCHOVY BANDIT, PROSPECT
The offer: During “Anchovy aperitivo hour”- 5pm-6pm weekdays – you can tuck into a tasty pizza pie and say cheers to a Peroni, glass of Pink Fizz, or a Paloma cocktail for $25.
Taking its name from an Quentin Tarantino’s screenplay Captain Peach Fuzz, and The Anchovy Bandit, this popular Prospect Rd eatery – which has Short Film and Director’s Cut “Trust the Chef” dining options – is the perfect place for a bite and bevy before catching a movie at the nearby Palace Nova. ARKHE, NORWOOD
The offer: Take a seat at the bar and order a Mayura Station wagyu steak sando cooked over fire for just $24 for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays.
One of Adelaide’s hottest restaurants, Arkhe on The Parade has a flame-powered set-up and a smokin’ menu and drinks list which includes the Arkhe Psritz, Rhubi Fizz and FIGJAM made with Pot & Still fig gin, Amaro Nonino, burnt fig and lime.
COCCOBELLO RISTORANTE E PIZZERIA, FREWVILLE
The offer: Feast on the Gnocchi and Pasta Banquet one arancini each plus choose one pasta or gnocchi from the menu (minimum two people) for $30 per person. It includes one arancino each, plus one pasta or gnocchi to share. You can also add a scoop of the house-made gelato or sorbet for dessert for $5 per person and gluten-free pasta and gnocchi is available for an extra $3.
Coccobello, which is a term of endearment in Italian, is a much loved restaurant on Glen Osmond Rd offering antipasti, pasty, pizza, polenta and more. You can also toast with a glass or bottle of Italian and Italian-accented local wine.
FINO VINO, ADELAIDE
The offer: This Flinders St favourite is bringing it with a three-course Express Menu which includes one glass of wine for $55 per person (maximum booking of six people). It’s available Tuesday to Saturday for lunch or dinner, or Wednesday to Friday all day.
Dynamic duo David Swain and Sharon Romeo started the Fino Vino story in Willunga in 2006 before relocating to Seppeltsfield in the Barossa. Their CBD bar and restaurant offers the best of both worlds, showcasing superb SA produce and service.
HARRY’S DELI @ WIRRA WIRRA, McLAREN VALE
The offer: Raise your glass to a complimentary glass of Woodhenge Shiraz with any Son of Trott Pie. One of Harry’s Deli signature dishes, the lamb and shiraz pie comes with a seasonal salad and crispy potatoes.

KIN SEAFOOD, BURNSIDE

Offering everything from velvet sashimi through to naturally dried tuna heart, KIN Seafood at Burnside Village is a pre-dinner party destination for those who love to entertain at home. Australian-caught Port Lincoln Southern bluefin tuna products are also the house specialty.
MAISON CLEMENT, ADELAIDE

Advertiser food reviewer Simon Wilkinson couldn’t get enough of the pork bouillon at this French bistro at the bottom of Chancellor Hotel, naming it one of his most memorable dishes of 2023. That’s all the recommendation you need.
PEARL, ALDINGA
The offer: Book in to dine on the set menu put together by owner Jules Rydon and featuring today’s catch for $80 per person and you and your dining companions will each be shouted an autumnal spritz cocktail or mocktail.
With uninterrupted views of the coast, Pearl, which boasts being “on the doorstep of the ocean” at Aldinga Beach, more than lives up to its name. If you’re in a hurry, there’s a kiosk with takeaway options, but why would you.
RUBY RED FLAMINGO
The offer: Find a friend or two or more for a lunch of Pranzo Bonanzo on Fridays only (minimum two people). On the menu is antipasto to share, one pasta each and one glass of wine each for $39 per person.
Famous for making you feel like you’re at Nonna’s house, this North Adelaide haunt – which was once home to The Manse – offers a modern Italian menu in a nostalgic setting thanks to bric-a-brac furniture and brown and orange floral patterned crockery.
WINDY POINT, BELAIR
