There was 15mm of rain recorded at Nightcliff Pool, 13mm at Darwin Airport and 12mm at Marrara, while 12.8mm fell over Darwin Harbour on Saturday.
The heaviest bouts of rain fell about 3pm (6.6mm in 20 minutes) and 4pm (3.8mm in 15 minutes).

“The photo gods were smiling but the camera gods were not … it was one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen in the NT and I didn’t have my camera,” he said.
But luckily his iPhone 12 did the job.
