Taylor Swift lookalike Maree Ellard says it’s not just music fans who notice her striking resemblance to the US megastar.

“Women would often stop and tell me I look like Taylor Swift, but since Taylor and Travis Kelce’s relationship made headlines, even the odd NFL fan mentions it to me,” said Ms Ellard. “It’s wild to see her influence and the new audience she’s introduced to the NFL.”

Ms Ellard will be among a huge crowd at The District, in SkyCity Adelaide on Monday morning to watch NFL’s showpiece game, the Super Bowl, featuring Kansas City – and Swift’s partner Kelce – take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Packages for The District’s event are almost sold out with hundreds of NFL fans set to flock to the dual-level venue to enjoy the game on their huge screens. Walk-ins are still welcome in The District sports bar.
