Ahoy, landlubbers and food lovers: Pirate Life has hoisted sail on an exclusive new private dining room at its Port Adelaide brewery.

Pirate Life’s head of hospitality Katie van de Merwe said the addition will offer bespoke and intimate experiences with “just with a bit of extra magic”.

“We’re super passionate about creating meaningful and memorable experiences down here at PLHQ, and our new private dining room will be a proud extension of that,” she said.

“The space itself is just beautiful. Covered in murals and adorned with greenery, it’s the perfect spot for an exclusive and intimate event.”

Suitable for groups of 10 to 14 people, the room features a long table, ambient lighting, and comes complete with its own private waiter.

Van de Merwe said the setting was ideal for birthdays, work dinners and events aimed at “fostering a sense of connection”.

“We’ll work to tailor each party’s individual needs. It’s going to be one of Adelaide’s most unique dining experiences for sure.”

Head chef Rocky Oliveria said the menu would focus around his “feed me” selection, including rib-eye steaks and whole baked fish, and the private room would complement Pirate Life’s recent $1m kitchen and fire-pit upgrade.

“We’re always striving to be inclusive with our in-house menu, and this new dining experience gives us the opportunity to be a little more exclusive,” Oliveria said.

“You know, elevate it a bit – not just with the food but the overall experience.”

The Pirate Life Private Dining Room, at 18 Baker St, Port Adelaide, is now available to book. For details email bookings@piratelife.com.au or call (08) 83401447.
