It’s long been a favourite with vegans looking for a plant-based alternative, but Two-Bit Villains is looking for a new owner after 14 years.

A popular vegan cafe is set to close its doors after 14 years of trading in the heart of the city.
The owners of Two-Bit Villains say they’ve made the difficult decision to sell their Adelaide Arcade restaurant, which sits in the historic Grand Ballroom and overlooks Rundle Mall.
Two-Bit Villains has long been a favourite with vegetarians and vegans, with the cafe offering plant-based American cuisine and handmade sodas.
Owner and founder Liam Hughes said it was time for a new owner to breathe new life into the much-loved institution.
“It wasn’t an easy decision to make but I feel like we are ready for a creative change,” Mr Hughes said.
“(We) would love to pass Two-Bit onto someone who can come in with fresh eyes, a fresh attitude and the passion to get in and take the reins.”
He said the “iconic space” would be ideal for anyone with a “great idea”.
It comes after several CBD restaurants, bars and cafes closed their doors blaming the cost-of-living crisis.
Award-winning seafood restaurant Fishbank Bar and Grill quietly closed its doors over Christmas due to rising inflation and interest rates.
Popular Hindley Street restaurant Stem will close its door on March 2 after struggling to stay viable, while Roxie’s and Midnight Spaghetti near the Crown Anchor will shut in late May and mid July respectively.
