This NRL WAG put her husband ‘on the map’ at the 2023 Dally M

While the Dally M award goes to the footy “player of the year”, some fans argue it is their other halves who put the stars “on the map”.

The NRL’s annual “night of nights” is upon us once more but while we’re still counting down until the stars arrive on the red carpet, previous years have proved it is often the WAGs that steal the show.

Kaylah Collins, who is married to Sydney Roosters player Lindsay Collins, dazzled on the 2023 Dally M Awards red carpet at the Royal Randwick Racecourse last year.

The renowned publicist flashed the flesh in a sheer strapless black corset with a black skirt, that featured a daring thigh-high split that left a train behind her.

She finished the look with a statement diamond necklace, telling news.com.au at the time that the jewellery was from House of K’dor and featured 10 carats of diamonds worth over $100,000.

The only other piece of jewellery the new mum – who welcomed the couple’s first child in June – wore on the night was her wedding band.

Kaylah wore her brunette locks in a tight bun at the top of her head, leaving only a few strands loose to frame her face.

Social media users had a lot to say about Kaylah’s outfit, with one joking that she was putting her husband on the map.

“Best dressed by a country mile,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “She came, she slayed.”

“She’s an icon, she’s a legend,” one added.

“Kaylah was hands down best dressed on the night. Like Taylor Swift putting this bloke on the map. Kidding love you Lindsay amazing season,” mused someone else.

“You made that outfit look amazing,” one added.

Kaylah’s look at last year’s awards night wasn’t the only time she has turned heads at an event.

At the Jack Gibson Medal 2023, where her husband won the Sydney Roosters’s Player Of The Year award, Kaylah wore an off-the-shoulder black dress with yet another daring split.

“Absolutely stunning” and “Slaylah” were some of the responses on that outfit.

Meanwhile, at a House of K’dor event, the jewellery house that created Kaylah’s $100,000 2023 Dally M necklace, she equally caught attention in a flesh-flashing dress.

Kaylah’s black dress had a dramatic cut out in the torso, exposing her stomach and cleavage and eye-catching silver straps.

The couple, who met while in high school and tied the knot in 2022 and recently added daughter Georgia Marie Collins to their young family.

People were quick to wish the couple congratulations, with one saying: “Wonderful congratulation beautiful Kaylah and Lindsay. Just so thrilled for you both and sending so much love. Welcome to the world precious Georgia.”

Another said: “Congratulations guys, how exciting. Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world.”

The 27-year-old PR maven has previously said that while she is known for her famous husband, the only way to thrive while dating an athlete is to be “independent” — and every WAG she knows has their “own” life.

“You have to be very independent to be with them,” she told news.com.au last year, adding she doesn’t know anyone who simply sits at home and lives off their partner.

“How boring would it be? Waiting for something exciting to happen to them?”

She joked that the only thing her husband’s career dictates is what they will have for dinner.
