Adelaide fitness guru, personal trainer and author Kayla Itsines has celebrated her upcoming marriage at an intimate hens party with her closest friends and family.

Fitness guru Kayla Itsines has celebrated her upcoming marriage to partner Jae Woodroffe at an intimate hens party.

Itsines posted to Instagram on Saturday night to share that she had celebrated her hen party despite feeling hesitant to plan something at first.

“Today was my ‘hens’ – aka – bridal shower,” she wrote on her story.

“I said 300 times, ‘it’s all good, I don’t want to do anything for it’.

“I obviously caved after everyone was like you have to do something.”

The personal trainer went on to explain that she had an “amazing” time and even had a visit from her future husband.

“We even met up with the boys for a bit and it was amazing haha,” she said.

“I don’t drink so it’s hard to get pumped for this sort of event … I’m getting married in a month!!!”

Itsines posted several photos on Instagram of her wearing a sequin crop top and white pants at an intimate lunch and then a house by the beach.

Woodroffe also shared a photo of him and his soon-to-be wife and shared his sister’s post expressing her excitement at Kayla joining the family.

“Pretty sure she’s marrying my brother so that she gets to have ME as her sister-in-law. The countdown is on,” Alicia Superina, founder of Solo – The Staple wrote.

Itsines'’s sister Leah also posted a photo on Instagram of the sisters enjoying the day.

“Happy Hens,” she wrote.

Itsines and Woodroffe got engaged in July last year six months after they went public with their relationship.

The announcement was made by Woodroffe on Instagram with a photo of Istines with her ring and the caption “when you know you know”.
