Early days

The former couple met at the start of 2018, before going public with their relationship at the Aussie Formula One Grand Prix.

Rogers first brought him back to her hometown in mid-2018, gushing to the Advertiser that “everybody loved him”.

“He met Dad’s side and Mum’s side and everyone in between,” a then 26-year-old Rogers said.

“It was a jam-packed family weekend but it was good. Everybody loved him, he got big ticks from everyone.”

The couple initially got engaged in 2019, but their wedding was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But in February 2022, the pair finally married in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Terindah Estate on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.

The couple’s split

Break-up rumours began swirling by September 2022, after fans noticed Rogers had reverted to her maiden name on Instagram and unpinned all photos from her February wedding.

On October 3, Rogers, then 30, finally addressed the break-up in an Instagram post.

“After 4.5 years together, Justin and I have come to the difficult decision to separate as a couple,’” her break-up post on Instagram said.

“I do not wish to make any further statements about this in the near future,” she added.

“Please respect our decision and privacy at this time. Thank you for all your private DMs, kindness and support.”

In an interview early after their split, Rogers described her emotions as “raw”.

“It’s been a few weeks now,” she said.

“It’s still very raw, there are a number of factors but the details are private and I just want to focus now on work and spending time with my family and friends.”

Although Rogers put on a brave face as she continued to work red carpets across Australia, she later admitted she was “really struggling” and her life was “falling apart” in the wake of their split.

She also revealed she was working with a psychologist, sharing a picture of a doctor’s waiting room with her followers.

“Starting the day with a psych session,’ she wrote at the time.

“I’ve been seeing a psychologist weekly at the moment and he has been such an amazing support for me.”

Life in the headlines

But despite Rogers’ good intentions, it quickly became worse for the warring exes as their split was dragged through the headlines.

Within weeks of announcing their separation, McKeone was seen partying up a storm with two models at a Melbourne nightclub – looking anything but heartbroken.

An Instagram photo showed the former accountant drinking with nightclub owner Nick Russian and the models at hotpot Bar Bambi.

Later, Rogers took to her own social media, sharing a gut-wrenching post that revealed she was no longer living with her dog, Ziggy, after her separation from Mr McKeone.

“As I know you all adore Ziggy and I keep on getting asked about him. He does not live with me anymore,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

“Justin has taken him. I am devastated and don’t want to talk about it further,” she added.

The next month, Mr McKeone was thrust back into the headlines for a very awkward reason.

Instagram watchdog account Influencer Updates captured screenshots from Mr McKeone’s account that appeared to show his naked reflection in a window.

In a pair of videos posted to Instagram, the former finance expert was attempting to capture the view from his hotel room when he accidentally revealed himself to his 10,000 followers.

Influencer Updates captured screenshots of the embarrassing incident before he was able to delete the posts, and then shared them on their own account to 38,000 followers.

Moving on

The pair moved quickly to cut ties with one another, promptly offloading the Melbourne townhouse they shared in November 2022 – a whopping $100,000 above their reserve.

They had lived in the home for two years.

By April, Rogers had moved on emotionally too as she announced her romance with model Morgan Waterhouse.

The pair had been linked after they shared identical photos of the view from Rogers’ apartment. They have since parted ways.

Rogers is now dating a Melbourne-based consultant named Hugo.

For his part, Mr McKeone has been sighted out with a number of beautiful women, including Adelaide make-up artist and reality TV star Leah Cummings.

In 2023, she revealed her own “disappointing” experience with McKeone.

“I was recently dating a guy, Justin McKeone, Olivia Molly Rogers’ ex husband, but it didn’t work out,” Leah, then 33, told The Advertiser, adding: “He wasn’t who he made himself out to be and unfortunately I see the best in people and it was disappointing when this was proved wrong.”

What Rogers has said about their divorce

Although she initially stated she wouldn’t be making “any further statements” about their split, Rogers began revealing details at the end of 2022.

When she returned to Adelaide to celebrate Christmas, she let slip in a TikTok that it was her who left McKeone.

“I left my husband about three months ago and everyone’s been really supportive,” she said.

Later, in February 2023, Rogers revealed her relationship with Mr McKeone was “imbalanced” and fraught with communication problems.

The beauty told the hosts of the Life Uncut podcast, her marriage was a mistake and the reason they broke up was because he made her “miserable”.

Further, Rogers admitted she’d had serious “doubts” about marrying McKeone before their wedding day but felt she “made (her) bed and (she) had to lie in it”.

“It felt like I had too much to lose,” she said.

But the beauty bravely told listeners her short marriage should not be viewed as a “failure” but rather as someone willingly walking away because something was “really wrong”.

After her comments, Mr McKeone was quick to speak out.

“A wise person once said never believe there is one side to a story. Respect the dignity of a broken marriage > speaking publicly,” he wrote in an Instagram story.

“My nearest and dearest know my side and that’s all that matters to me. That’s all you’ll ever (hear) from me. Thank you for all the messages of support – I can honestly say I’ve never been happier.”

What are the allegations against Mr McKeone

Over the weekend, the news broke Mr McKeone had been interviewed by police over accusations in a lawsuit he had stolen almost half a million dollars from his Melbourne employer.

Court documents obtained by the Herald Sun reveal Mr McKeone, who turned 37 on Friday, has been accused of misappropriating $481,490.33 amid claims he was acting “erratically”.

Mr McKeone was employed in March 2024 by Cozmic Sales Pty Ltd, which trades as Rocket Brands, as Rocket’s Head of Finance on a salary of $200,000, but months later staff alerted Cozmic Sales director Matthew Holmes that Mr McKeone was acting “erratically”, according to an affidavit filed in the lawsuit.

“The complaints were to the effect that staff had observed Mr McKeone sleeping in the toilets for between 1 to 4 hours a day, observed Mr McKeone taking 90-minute lunch breaks, and observed Mr McKeone leaving the office regularly without performing his duties,” Mr Holmes stated in an affidavit.

The court documents allege that Mr McKeone made 114 unauthorised payments totalling $481,490.33 from the company to his personal bank account between May 23 and October 6, allegedly disguising the majority of the transactions as payments to other businesses.

Mr McKeone is no longer employed by the company and the court documents reveal Mr Holmes reported the alleged theft to Victoria Police in October.

An application by Cozmic Sales for a freezing order against Mr McKeone was filed in the Victorian Supreme Court on October 21 and granted the following day.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.

Mr McKeone was contacted for comment.

A spokesperson for Rogers also declined to comment. She is not accused of any wrongdoing.
