Australian Foo Fighters fans have shared bombshell theories about frontman Dave Grohl’s love child.
This week, the singer and former Nirvana drummer stunned the world when he announced he had fathered a child outside of his marriage to wife of 21-years Jordyn Blum.
Now, fans have taken to social media to share theories the mother of his newborn daughter could be Australian.
“Which one of you Australians was it?!” asked one user, accompanied with a list of the group’s 2023 Australian tour dates.
The American supergroup has toured the US and Abu Dhabi before heading to Australia in November and then New Zealand.
They kicked off the Australian leg of the tour in Perth on November 29, before heading across the country to play shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The group played to a sellout Coopers Stadium in Adelaide on December 2, just over nine months ago.
While in Adelaide, Grohl was joined by bass guitarist Nate Mendel and other members of his entourage for the meal at The Exeter.
Speaking at the time, top Adelaide chef Duncan Welgemoed told The Advertiser that he organised the dinner on the balcony of the iconic Adelaide venue after his own restaurant, Africola on East Terrace was “too booked out” to accommodate them.
Grohl, 55, who had been dubbed the “nicest guy in rock”, confessed he had “recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage” in a statement on Tuesday.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl and Blum share three daughters: Violet Maye, Harper Willow and Ophelia Saint.
He did not reveal who the mother of the newborn girl is, nor has his wife made a statement.
