Melbourne model and Love Island star Anna McEvoy has wed Michael Staples in “the idyllic European wedding of our dreams” but it wasn’t strictly a legal ceremony.

Melbourne beauty Anna McEvoy has married the love of her life in a dream destination wedding.
McEvoy, a model, podcaster and businesswoman, tied the knot with Michael Staples in Corfu, Greece.
“Our wedding day at The Courti Estate was magical,” McEvoy told the Herald Sun.
“It was the idyllic European wedding of our dreams, that turned out even better than we could have imagined. Michael and I couldn’t be happier.
“So overwhelmed with love from our amazing family and friends, who travelled all the way to Greece to support us.”
McEvoy, wearing a white billowing gown by Melbourne designer Alin Le’Kal, celebrated with Staples and an intimate group of guests including Matt Zukowski and his fiance Tammy Hembrow.

McEvoy revealed she had secretly wed Staples in Melbourne before heading to Greece, due to his groomsman being unable to travel.
“On the 28th of April, Michael and I went to the registry office with both of our parents and we had a registry secret wedding,” she said on the podcast.
“Which means, our wedding that we just had (in Greece) was not a legal ceremony. It’s our wedding day for us and in our eyes the day we got married.”
McEvoy and Staples are not only partners in life, but they also launched a business together in 2023; tanning products Goldee Bee.
They had a wedding song written especially for the ceremony. The newlyweds are holidaying in Mykonos with friends.
